Ronin was formed in London in 2005 with a simple goal: creating shareholder value for business owners and their management teams.

We work closely with founders and owners to support the transition of ownership to management teams, helping businesses navigate the next stage with confidence.

With long-standing relationships across the UK and Europe, we can secure funding typically between £10m and £100m to support Management Buy Outs—bringing the right capital and partners together to make deals happen.

The businesses we back

We back established, profitable businesses—typically generating over £1m (or 5m PLN) in profit—operating in growth sectors across the UK or Poland. We look for companies with clear momentum and the potential to accelerate further, whether through acquisitions, expanding their service offering, or growing their client base.

Most importantly, we partner with founder or owner led businesses where there’s a genuine desire to exit responsibly, with a strong preference for the management team to take over ownership and lead the next chapter.

Sale to management and value creation

Ronin provides hands-on facilitation and value acceleration throughout the Management Buy Out journey. We secure funding alongside our partners, help the business prepare for due diligence, and coach the management team through the creation of a clear, investable business plan.

Post-acquisition, we stay closely involved—offering board-level guidance and strategic support, sourcing acquisitions and follow-on funding, and introducing specialist expertise across sales, IT, compliance, product, innovation, finance, AI, and branding/marketing. Our focus is on building momentum and preparing the business for a successful exit within 3–6 years.
